Hi folks. God I miss Kenya and all of you. Thank you for your message Gems, you truly will make a remarkable mum-you were just born for it. I still think about Kenya every day and I have sent a few parcels to Gitau now. Hes doing just fine and up to the usual things a four year old should be. He had his first Xmas and opened his first ever xmas pressies, Jill at the home said he looked at her with those big eyes and said "for me, all of them" it was just a couple of t shirts, crayons, books and puzzles etc-still makes you think though..I am trying to become his legal guardian and am waiting on Jill to contact me. Anyhooo better get on with some work, take care all of you xxx Ness xxx

Ness... I thought I'd stopped crying that really is such a fantastic gesture. I agree with your sentiments about friendship and the fact that we did MAD. There are a few things that you do in life that remain with you day in day out and influence the way you look at the world I feel that I had one of those experiences with you guys. Cheers.

A huge big thankyou to chief John for what really was a life changing opportunity. I have never experienced so many emotions. I have put the wheels in motion with the orphanage to look after Gitau until he is 18. I am not lucky enough to be able to have children of my own and will do my very best to help where ever I can. Thankyou to all of my companions who put up with me and I hope we all remain friends as WE REALLY DID MAKE A DIFFERENCE. xxxx ness xxx

I have just updated the team on my trip in our trading meeting. Had to hold the tears back once again, not just because of the sad times (orphange) but because of the great experience we all had. I feel really lucky to have been part of it, and you were all a great bunch of people who mucked in and got on with the task in hand

Just viewed John's photos and with my own will be a lifetime memory of the fabulous trip we had. I would certainly repeat the experience.
Thank you to all my fellow volunteers for making the trip soo memorable and enjoyable.
