  • Arriving at the orphanage during a blackout and being engulfed by hundreds of children.
  • Riding camels through the dessert and visiting Timbuktu.
  • Making amazing friends to stay in touch with back in Ghana.
  • Singing, dancing, building and drinking with the locals.
  • The sheer emotion of having to say goodbye, which showed how much everyone meant to each other.
  • Helping deliver a Ghanaian baby.
  • Riding a tro tro- proper Ghanaian style!
  • Eating fufu with the nurses.
