Update from MAD HQ: Bubogo Primary School

The purpose of this project is to renovate the original desperate state of the Primary School classrooms.Classroom renovation to fit concrete floors, new walls, windows and doors; a large project that needed to be completed over multiple phases involving building new classrooms and refurbishing old building that have fallen into a state of serious disrepair and disuse. There are 7 rooms educating up to 250 children a room. Only 2 of these were of a decent standard. The others had no floor, no windows or doors and were in a poor state, not conducive to a happy learning environment. Children often fell ill as the classrooms are open to the elements and jiggas (a flesh burrowing insect) were common in the unfinished floors.

We rebuilt and refurbish the buildings to create a new and much improved learning facility for the school. Now there is only one two classroom block to complete and Bubogo will of completely transformed into a functioning Primary school that can offer children education in a safe and healthy environment.
