Update from MAD HQ: Liate Soba Primary School Renovation and Public Toilet Block Build
The project aims to restore, improve and therefore prolong the life of the Liate Soba Primary School. The school was built by the Catholic Church, however was never completed due to insufficient funds. It was left unplastered, unpainted and without toilet facilities, and has deteriorated rapidly. Without restoration it is unlikely the school will be habitable in 10 years time.
The project is ambitious and builders will be kept very busy with repairs to the structure of the building, the provision of new doors, window frames and shutters, plastering, painting and the provision of a KVIP (long drop) toilet.
