Update from MAD HQ: Abeka NkwantaPrimary School

The project was located in Abeka Nkwanta, a small rural village situated about 60kms North of Cape Coast in Ghana's Central Region. The project was very rural with the nearest sizable town being Twifu Praso about 26kms away. The building project was a 6-room primary school for the village of Abeka Nkwanta.

This included a small library, store room and teachers' common room.We worked in partnership with World Vision, an international NGO, who implemented the project. The 5 week project saw the school completed. The work was undertaken with the help of local staff and World Vision representatives. Earnest, World Vision's technical advisor, was present for the majority of the time on our project site.He oversaw all work and instruct the artisans, and the local labourers worked alongside our volunteers.
