So this is it: in a few short hours I will be on the first of four connecting flights to Peru. Standing here in my kitchen, I am nervous, excited, and really quite impatient to get going. No matter what challenges lie ahead in the next seven weeks I hope to meet them head on and take away some extremly valuable lessons and memories as well as doing some good to those whom the lottery of life dealt a poorer hand.
